The Art League is moving out of its Duke Street Annex location at the end of the Summer 2012 School Term. We’re replacing our space by expanding at the Madison Annex, and are excited to open a dynamic, consolidated educational facility that offers 2D and 3D classes in the same location in Fall 2012. Click here to learn more about the build-out and new facility. Construction is underway and we need your help!
We need you to help us raise $210,000 to fund the build-out and move. We already have a significant 30-something start to this campaign, thanks to a wonderfully generous lead gift from one of our loyal, longtime students and the hugely successful campaign kick-off: Spring2Action Fundraising Day on May 2. A promising $82,465!
If every student, member, donor, instructor, volunteer, and patron donates $30, we’ll raise enough money to fund the whole project! Please spread the word and help The Art League fund its way towards its new home!
Be a “30-Something” for The Art League by donating $30 to our build-out campaign!

Spring2ACTion was on Wednesday, May 2 and was the kick-off for our campaign. This 24 hour giving event throughout the city of Alexandria was hosted by ACT for Alexandria and ACTion Alexandria and allowed us to compete against dozens of other nonprofits for the opportunity to win up to $15,000 in additional grants and prizes. By the end of the day The Art League won $9,800!
A BIG Thank You to everyone who donated on May 2, and helped us win big!
The Art League is grateful to the Alexandria Community Trust for providing this wonderful opportunity to The Art League and for helping to launch this important campaign!
