Best in Show: Groovy by Tess Olson

Art represents our human values.

Artists take different actions and apply different practices, based on their judgments of what approach is most important to produce their artwork and share it with their communities. Their artwork reflects what is important in the creative life of the particular artist that produced it and that can be the essential theme in the artist’s body of work.

Participating artists were encouraged to submit artwork that best captures what is most important in their creative life—be it the subject of the work, the process, or the object’s function.
