The Art League School’s Summer Art Camp is currently searching for interns for Summer 2017! Interns act as classroom aides to teaching artists during the course of the summer. They are also responsible for basic camp functions such as assistance with class set ups, class coordination, and helping to evaluate the effectiveness of classes offered. Interns are trained and directly supervised by the camp coordinator. Campers range from ages 5 to 11, and art projects are done in a variety of fine art media. Interns will have the opportunity to create and teach their own lesson towards the end of the summer.
Camp begins June 19, 2017 and ends August 20, 2017. Hours are 8:30 am–4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Internships are unpaid, with stipends for interns who work over 200 hours.

Unpaid internships are available throughout the year for assisting in the gallery. A gallery internship provides great work experience where you not only gain direct experience working in the visual arts arena, but also learn about the business operations of the gallery. Art Camp instructors needed
The Art League’s Summer Art Camp is seeking new teaching artists. Applicants should have a strong fine art background and experience working with/teaching children. The Art League employs a staff of approximately 30 full- and part-time employees in its five departments: Administration, Development, School, Gallery, and Store. Most of our staff is connected in some way to the arts, particularly the visual arts, but the skill sets needed for the various positions held are fine arts administration.
