Fritz DesRoches, “The Caribbean – How Beautiful”

With his bright palette and distinctive perspective, Haitian American artist Fritz DesRoches brings the color and flavor of native island life to the canvas. His airbrushed acrylic paintings show both vibrant examples of daily activities and traditional elements of Haitian art. “The Caribbean – How Beautiful” will be featured in The Art League Gallery, March 9–April 3, 2016.
DesRoches was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and grew up in Boston, MA. After 20 years in the US Army, he retired and stayed in Germany for nearly 30 years. In February 2013, he returned to the US. He is a member of the Torpedo Factory Artists Association and The Art League Gallery.
