The Art League at The Alexandria Festival for the Arts
The Art League will help kick off the festivities for the FREE Alexandria Festival for the Arts on Saturday, September 10 beginning at 10:00 am at Market Square, and we invite you to come and join us! Events will continue throughout the weekend.
We will host a variety of free creative programs from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Market Square in Old Town Alexandria (corner of King & North Fairfax Streets). Fun, hands-on, art activities for all ages will be offered throughout the day along with The Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser!

The Art League's popular Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser is back for TWO DAYS in 2011! Join us at Market Square in Alexandria on September 10 and 11 and buy some fabulous hand-made bowls created by the talented artists of The Art League's Ceramics Department and enjoy a bowl of local artisan ice cream by ACKC Cocoa Bar in Del Ray - all for only $15 per bowl!

September 10 & 11, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm: Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser at Market Square
September 10, 2:00 – 4:00 pm: Hands-on Art Activity with Art League Instructor Steve Prince at Market Square
September 10, 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm: "Art Activated" Activity with Art League Instructor Patrick Kirwin in the Torpedo Factory Art Center
September 11, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm: Hands-on Arts Activity with Patrick Kirwin at Market Square
