The 2010 Student Show is at our NEW National Harbor Gallery Space! Statement from the Student Show Juror, Walter Kravitz:

It seems to me the general quality of the work has been leaping up through the years. It was very difficult to choose the prize winners! I felt those who made an exceptional showing were the tromp-le-oeil painters and of course the crafts-people. But there were many winners including those who made small delicate works which sometimes get swallowed up by the brighter, larger works in exhibitions. I'd like to see some mixed media sculpture if you have me back (need not be large) and artists who do works on paper need to be careful about over-framing (a frame does not a painting make). Great to jury your show and congratulations to all!
