Our Annual Student Show has been postponed to April 8 through May 8, 2010 at our National Harbor location, 120 American Way, Oxon Hill, Maryland 20745. Receiving will be on Monday, April 5, 2010.
Current students may submit one piece of current work (done within the last year in an Art League class) for the Student Show. Please do not submit work from Monitored Life, Open Studio or workshops. Wall space is limited so we encourage submission of small works. We cannot accept multiples (such as diptychs), even if you have taken several classes. Instructors should enter only as faculty even if they have been students as well this year.
An outside judge will select merit awards from among the works submitted. Those receiving awards will be given a free membership to The Art League for the year July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. Please remember that you must still submit an application form to activate or renew your membership.
We would greatly appreciate your participation in your show! You can help us by volunteering to receive work, place identification cards, provide hospitality for the reception, and/or distribute works at the end of the show. If you can help in any way, please fill out a volunteer form and turn it in at the school office or simply call the school.
