The Catalogue strives to "shine a light on smaller, community-based nonprofits where your contribution really makes a difference."

The Art League, a 501(C)(3) organization, depends upon the generosity of supporters to fulfill our mission to “nurture the artist” and thereby “enrich the community.”
 

While The Art League generates a significant portion of our operating funds, donors drive our outreach and accessibility.  Supporters of The Art League help to ensure that we can continue to offer excellent visual art classes that are affordable to all; expand our school curriculum; provide our SOHO outreach program to at-risk, low-income girls; and encourage the creation and enjoyment of art in Alexandria and across the entire Washington, DC area.
