"Leftovers" by Fred Markham
In early 2010, Krekeler Brower (located at 1800 Diagonal Rd, Suite F, Alexandria, VA 22314 [across from King St Metro]) hosted an Art League Exhibit featuring the winter landscapes of Art League artist and instructor, Fred Markham.
A reception to showcase this exhbit was held on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 5:30–7:30 pm.
Markham teaches drawing and painting for The Art League and is the Assistant Dean of Humanities at Northern Virginia Community College, Woodbridge Campus
Markham received his Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Drawing from Transylvania University in Lexington Kentucky. He went on to a Post-Baccalaureate Program in Painting at the University of Kentucky, and then received his Master of Fine Arts in Painting from The George Washington University. He has been juried into numerous shows in the Washington, DC area has received many accolades for his work.
