A three-hour workshop on finding your writing voice... for the visual artist.
As a painter, sculptor, potter, or woodcarver, it's important to know how to say in words what comes to you by feel and intution. Exhibitions, shows, and galleries require both an artist's statement and a descriptive of your work. We can help you capture what often escapes an artist when they are asked to articulate why they do what they do.
Come away with a new, or refreshed, artist's statement... and some great ideas to help promote and market your work.
David Hazard has been helping artists and writers for 34 years "to find the fire inside their work" and describe it in ways that support the marketing and promotion of their creative outflow. He is a publishing consultant, writing coach, and author who has also helped launch the careers of nearly 250 authors.
Contact the gallery at 703-683-1780 or gallery@theartleague.org to register for this free workshop. Space is limited. |
