| Through demonstrations and confidence building exercises, students learn techniques, methods, and approaches to painting the landscape. This class explores and focuses on a different element of landscape each quarter. Fall: trees, flora, and the figure outdoors. Winter: clouds and skies. Spring: earth, rocks, buildings, and mountains. Summer: water. Students should have basic painting experience and are welcome to work in oil, acrylic, or oil pastel. Students need to acquire supplies for this class. A list of recommended supplies is available in the School Store located in room 217 of the Torpedo Factory Art Center. | ||
