Biography:
Education:
Master in Architecture, Tsinghua University; Master in Architecure, State University of New York at Buffalo.
Received  training of drawing and water-color painting in his architecture education.
 
Experience:
He has kept water-color painting and rendering while he has worked as an architect. His work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions, including The Art League Gallery and exhibitions of “Art  by Architects” hosted by AIA DC Chapter.
 
He has taught in various Universities both in the United States and in China.
 
Methodology:
 
While teaching  water-color technique, he emphasizes the fundamentals in sketching and painting, including composition, shaping, volume, light & shadow, clear & blurry, texture.
 He seeks to Introduce different styles of  water-color painting while concentrating on basic technique. His classes include general critique so that students may learn good points from each other.

His interest in classical music and travel inspires his artistic work.
