Participants complete three projects. Project 1: forging and soldering techniques to make a sterling silver ring. Project 2: cold connection techniques such as riveting, entrapping, and bolting to make a pin or pendant using Plexiglas, aluminum, brass, and cubic zirconia. Project 3: learning to link materials with a combination of fabrication and soldering techniques. Students are encouraged to bring personal items to include in their final project. A $50 materials fee, paid to the instructor, covers the cost of project specific materials.
