What is a Ceramics Special Topics class? This class is structured as a four week mini-class focusing intently on a specific process or technique. The subjects vary and may be as wide ranging as our studio is capable of accomplishing. Keep your ears and eyes open for these sessions.
Special Topic: Art of the Tile
This class explores the use of tile to enhance a physical space. The goal of this class is to use mosaic and various tile techniques to collaboratively create and install the class’s final project in a public space. The constraints and possibilities of the specific space is considered and incorporated in this design process. Concept, execution and installation is the takeaway of this class.
