No class on July 6. Digital illustration is the dominant force in today’s print and web publications. This course focuses on how to execute dramatic imagery through digital means, teaching the basics of programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Sketch, Adobe Draw, Procreate, Scketchbook Pro, and Illustrator. Whether using these programs on a Surface or iPad, this course will help you improve your workflow and understanding of digital art. Throughout the nine-week course, students will work on prompts to create images. The class examines different images and the techniques used to accomplish each one.
Students are required to bring their own iPad and stylus or Mac/PC with a Wacom Tablet.
Recommended applications include: Procreate, Adobe Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Draw.
