Students explore a variety of media and mark-making techniques as they broaden their artistic skills and personal expression. The use of line, value, and composition are emphasized as the students develop their understanding between the relationships of form, texture, and color. Participants will use both traditional as well as abstract methods of drawing and painting.
This class requires supplies. Most supplies and supply lists may be obtained at The Art League Store in the Torpedo Factory, room 217. The store hours are 11am – 5pm Sunday through Thursday and 10am – 5pm Friday and Saturday. The Art League Store’s phone number is 703-548-8127.
