Through hands-on projects and engaging exercises, learn to transform ideas into vibrant, captivating illustrations. The course includes an exploration of historical and contemporary masters of illustration, analyzing their techniques and incorporating their solutions into your own creative practice.
While a basic drawing background is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. Whether you are an aspiring illustrator or simply looking to enhance your artistic skills, this course guides you in developing your unique voice and visual storytelling abilities. Join us in this creative journey and let your imagination come to life with watercolor and ink.
Supplies are required for this course. As a service to our students, most supply lists are kept on hand in the Art League Supply Store. The existence of this store gives students the opportunity to obtain supplies in advance and come to class prepared to work. The Art League Supply Store is in studio 217 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, just around the corner from the Art League School Registration Office.
They are open 7 days a week for your convenience. Due to our large enrollment, we are unable to mail, fax, or read supply lists over the phone. It is the responsibility of the student to acquire their own materials.
Hours: Sunday through Thursday from 11:00am to 5:00pm
Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm
