Good for Beginners
Learn the basics of the ancient art form of mosaics using modern tools and materials. Lectures and demos include studio set-up, materials review and sourcing, use of tools, where to start, layout and design, cutting materials, tile shape and spacing, patterns and photo references, proper adhesion, overview of major methodologies, grouting and finishing, display options and shows. New students create a mosaic artwork for interior display. Returning students may work on a project of their choice with instructor approval.
