All Levels. This outdoor class focuses on composition, value, and color relationships. Students examine the property of light and how it reveals form and color. Instructions include demonstrations for newcomers to plein air (outdoor) painting. Class is postponed or held indoors during inclement weather. Locations may not be metro accessible and students are responsible for their own transportation.
Supplies are required for this course. As a service to our students, most supply lists are kept on hand in the Art League Supply Store. The existence of this store gives students the opportunity to obtain supplies in advance and come to class prepared to work. The Art League Supply Store is in studio 217 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, just around the corner from the Art League School Registration Office.
They are open 7 days a week for your convenience. Due to our large enrollment, we are unable to mail, fax, or read supply lists over the phone. It is the responsibility of the student to acquire the materials list.
Hours: Sunday through Thursday from 11:00am to 5:00pm
Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm
