Students develop consistency, accuracy, and confidence before using color. Weekly demonstrations and drills train students to see proportions, planes, values, and learn systematic human head construction. Continuing students may use their preferred media to draw from photos, or 2- and 3-week poses. Basic Drawing is a suggested prerequisite. Any model fees are extra.
This class requires supplies. Most supplies and supply lists may be obtained at The Art League Store in the Torpedo Factory, room 217. The store hours are 11am – 5pm Sunday through Thursday and 10am – 5pm Friday and Saturday. The Art League Store’s phone number is 703-548-8127.
