Explore the art and craft of Raku and other low fire ceramic techniques. This is a studio class where students focus on both wheel thrown and hand built forms, surface decoration, and glazing along with “live fire” to complete their pieces. Other low firing techniques will be covered for those students interested in various forms of experimentation. All students are expected to participate as a team in all aspects of the actual Raku firings.
