Woodblock printingmaking

Instructor: Jennifer Dunbar

No Class on April 10th.

This course is designed for beginners as well as accomplished printmakers. Woodblock printing is a direct and versatile printing process and one of the oldest methods of printing. Students learn cutting techniques as well as several printing options, using wood to create black and white and full color images. All prints are original and hand pulled using relief printing presses. There is a $40.00 lab fee payable to the instructor which covers all ink and wood. Students supply wood carving chisels, paper, and paper towels.  A materials list is provided prior to class.
