Petite December is an exhibit looking for miniature works available for immediate purchase during the holiday season. No theme is required for works submitted. Normal gallery framing restrictions will be lifted, but the works may be no larger than 8”x5” or 40 square inches. Artists are allowed to enter up to 3 works, and 2 works can be accepted, if any. Artists are free to enter any current work made within the past 3 years. Petite December is a special exhibit; therefore all exhibiting artists must pay a flat $10.00 entry fee.

Maximum size for 2D works, including the frame: 8 inches x 5 inches or 40 square inches.

Maximum size for 3D works: 5”x 8”x 3” or 120 cubic inches.

-       Works larger than the aforementioned sizes will not be accepted.

-       Framed or unframed work is acceptable.

-       If works are framed, the framed size must fit within the size restriction.

• Artist must be a current exhibiting member of The Art League Gallery

• If the work weighs over 50lbs, the artist must install

• For a flat $10.00 special exhibit entry fee, artists can submit up to 3 works. Up to 2 works can be accepted, if any.

• 40% commission for all art forms with the exception of jewelry forms using precious metals and gemstones (20% commission).


Works are chosen by the selected juror’s curatorial vision and aesthetic.

About the Juror: Tegan M. Brozyna

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Tegan M. Brozyna (Roberts) is an artist based out of Brooklyn, NY. Her intuitive work is inspired by materials, landscape, mapping and an insatiable curiosity with the world around her. Brozyna received a MFA from Brooklyn College where she was a Graduate Teaching Fellow, and a recipient of the Cerf Award in Art as well as the Dean's Award in Art. Tegan holds a BA in Painting and completed a Post- Baccalaureate Fellowship at New York Center for Art and Media Studies in Manhattan.Tegan has exhibited at Queens College, Porter Contemporary in New York, Trestle Gallery in Brooklyn, Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn, Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences in Long Beach Township, NJ, the New York Public Library and Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA. Her work has been included in shows in Orvieto, Italy and Blonduos, Iceland where a piece was permanently installed at the Icelandic Textile Centre. From December 2014 - July 2015 three of Tegan's large-scale sculptural pieces were on view at the Philadelphia International Airport.
