Rey Armenteros is a Los Angeles-based artist and writer who has worked solely from the imagination for over 20 years. He obtained his MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, where he first began his exploration of this specific mode of drawing and painting. As a writer, he has had his essays and poetry appear in numerous literary journals and art magazines. He is currently working on a body of drawings and paintings that is going to redefine all the work he has done before.
