Mosaic Art- Beginner to Expert

Build a strong foundation in the ancient art form of mosaics using modern tools and materials. Learn everything from setting up your workspace to displaying your work. Learn to cut glass, properly adhere to your tesserae, and finish your work for best results. Planning, design, selection of materials and use of hand tools will be covered. Fabrication techniques and tricks of the trade will be discussed. Returning students may work on a project of their choice with instructor approval. New student kits can be ordered from the instructor or acquire your own tools and materials (list will be provided). All skill levels welcome.
