Covering the basics of setting cabochon and faceted stones, each class will focus on up to three areas of study over a 5 week period, where students explore the design possibilities and nature of each style of setting technique, to enhance and develop their own work.

Using commercial precast as well as fabricating your own mountings, students will set a variety of semi-precious stones in samplers or prefabricated personal work.

A full list of stone shapes/sizes, tools, metals and that sessions area of focus, are available upon registration for this class.

Students can opt to purchase their own supplies or purchase a supplies kit from the instructor based on market prices; an email sign up sheet for supplies will be sent out prior to the beginning of the 1st class.
