The Art League Ceramics Studio is located at our Madison Annex in Old Town, Alexandria. The studios are large, bright, and well equipped, easily stimulating creativity. Please read our Pandemic & Health Crisis Policy and S.A.F.E.R Playbook linked below. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, both of our studios will be used for one class, providing proper space for a total of 8 hand builders. Due to social distancing requirements, only students with previous ceramics experience can be accommodated. Mask use is required at all times.
The Art League Ceramics Studio fires the majority of its work at cone six oxidation in electric kilns and gas reduction kilns at no additional cost. The tuition includes 25 pounds of clay, glazes, and firing.
We have a protocol that we follow for deciding when it is reasonably safe to hold in-studio classes. We’re continuing to follow all Covid Safety protocols on the state and local levels for onsite activities and are monitoring the conditions in Alexandria.
