Lines and Circles I by Sharon Frey

Ikebana Arranger: Elise Schoux

Sharon Frey’s work is exuberant and inspired me to play with circles and lines as she did.  The focal point of her painting is a series of vertical lines.  I started there.  The colors in her piece are bold and bright.  I chose to use two of those colors in my arrangement.  Yellow sunflowers are my circles and red containers are rectangular blocks of color.

*Due to the nature of this exhibit, the floral arrangements (ikebana) are not available for purchase.
