Students discover their favorite way of making mosaics by creating decorative pavers suitable for outdoor display using four different mosaic methods. Brick sized pavers or outdoor ceramic tiles will be used as substrates. Focus will be on learning the basics of four different mosaic methods of application of medium. Paver surface measures about 4” x 8” and the tile surface measures 6” x 6”. Materials fee of $50 due to the instructor by the first day of workshop. Fee includes supplies and use of tools. Work remains at the school overnight and it is recommended to bring a small box to bring your items home on day two. We will break for lunch for 30 minutes on Saturday.
