Ink and Watercolor Wash (online)

Instructor: Peter Ulrich

There is a distinct genre of painting in which line shares the stage with shape as an equally important descriptive feature of the painting. This type of painting is called “Line and Wash” The line can be rendered by any calligraphic instrument: rigger brush, graphite pencil, watercolor pencil, crayon, pastel, or pen. When a pen is employed, the artwork is called “Ink and Wash”. This will be our emphasis in this workshop. This course is held on Zoom.
