Increase your enjoyment of travel, nature, and outdoor activity by keeping a sketchbook. Basic drawing techniques in pen, pencil, and watercolor are adapted for speed and smaller scale, and consideration is given to developing sketches into more finished work. June 11 and 12 meet in Old Town Alexandria.
Covid Policy for Students in this Class
The Art League will no longer require masks in our classrooms, store, gallery, or offices. However, we ask that our students, faculty, and staff use caution and thoughtfulness when they are close to others for prolonged periods. For example, students using shared equipment in the classroom studios are strongly encouraged to wear masks for their safety, and the consideration of those around them, when in tight proximity to others.Masks are also recommended if your home community risk level is high (Alexandria is currently at medium risk), or you’ve been told by a health professional to wear a mask based on your personal risk factors.
The Art League reserves the right to reinstate mandatory masks, and additional covid safety policies should we feel local conditions warrant such action.
