The Joy and Freedom of Contour Drawing

If you want to make better drawings, this workshop is for you! Ideal for beginners as well as more advanced students in search of a little more creativity in their observational drawings. It is also a fun bonding opportunity for students who would like to take a class with their teenage kid(s). Fundamental contour drawing techniques and advanced continuous drawing exercises with color and design techniques will be taught primarily in pencil and pen. Contour drawing is a continuous line drawing that describes the outermost edges of a form, as well as the dramatic changes of plane within form. Students will need very few materials for this workshop. Subjects will include still life objects, the human form, landscape and photographic references. Model fees and supplies are extra.as artists.
