The Art League employs a staff of approximately 30 full- and part-time employees in its five departments: Administration, Development, School, Gallery, and Store. Most of our staff is connected in some way to the arts, particularly the visual arts, but the skill sets needed for the various positions held are fine arts administration.

The Art League School’s Summer Art Camp is currently searching for interns for Summer 2019! Summer camp at The Art League provides a week-long experience in art with each day bringing a new medium or project for youth ages five years and up. Assistance is needed with class set ups, class coordination, in class-instructor assistance, and helping to evaluate the effectiveness of classes offered.Interns are trained and directly supervised by the camp coordinator. Interns will also have the opportunity to create and teach their own lessons towards the end of the summer.

Camp begins June 17, 2019 and ends August 16, 2019. Hours are 9:30 am–4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Internships are unpaid, however stipends will be distributed to interns who work over 200 hours.

Unpaid internships are available throughout the year for assisting in the gallery. A gallery internship provides great work experience where you not only gain direct experience working in the visual arts arena, but also learn about the business operations of the gallery.
