Supporting the community through visual arts
At The Art League, we believe in the power of the visual arts to help improve lives. Our outreach programs are centered around the desire to use our art resources to benefit the Alexandria community.
All of our outreach programs are made possible by the generous support of our donors. If you have other ideas about how The Art League can extend its reach and serve the community, please contact 703-519-1741 or develop@theartleague.org.

We have a full schedule of events, parties, openings, free programming and chances to dive deeper in your creative pursuits on the agenda for this Spring.
Who do you look up to? What do you look forward to?
IMPart stands for Injured Military Personnel + art.
As part of their life skills and visual arts lessons, the Space of Her Own girls learned film photography and darkroom practice.
IMPart connects recent Injured Military Personnel with visual arts experiences created for personal enrichment, relaxed social engagement, the improvement and redevelopment of fine motor skills, and expressive catharsis.
On Veteran’s Day, we wanted to share arts organizations and programs that work with veterans.
Your help is needed to support The Art League’s future!
