Bin Gallery orientation – June 13 & 22
There will be two informational sessions about Bin Gallery membership, on Wednesday, June 13 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, and Friday, June 22, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
Annual meeting for Art League members – June 14
The annual meeting for Art League membership business, including election of new board members, will take place at 4:00 pm on June 14 in The Art League Gallery. Note: Members received a ballot in the mail for the election of new board members.
Opening reception for June exhibits – June 14
The opening reception for Pattee Hipschen’s solo exhibit, “Rural Connections,” and the June All-Media Membership Exhibit, will be in The Art League Gallery from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
Summer Art Camp begins – June 18
Art Camps at The Art League run weekly from June 18 to August 24. Options include Basic Art Camp, which features a new project and a new medium each day, and a variety of specialty camps in the subjects of cartooning, ceramics, drawing, fiber arts, jewelry, painting, photography, sculpture, and clay animation. Photoshop for Beginners seminar – June 19
Join photographer John Burgess for his popular lecture and demonstration on using Adobe Photoshop for beginners. Burgess will also discuss how to create CDs for digital entries and how to correctly size your images for digital exhibit submissions. Exhibition Prints seminar – June 20

Success As An Artist seminar – June 21 & 28
This is a two-session seminar for Art League members designed to give practical information and advice towards a successful fine arts career. The fee to attend both sessions is $85 (signing up for a single session is not an option). The presenter, Kate Fraser, has given this seminar to hundreds of DC area artists, curators, teachers and other arts professionals since August of 1999.
