Sandy’s Stories
Deadline: November 19, 2012. GWU’s Gallery 102 invites submissions of original artwork for a Spring exhibition, “Sandy’s Stories: An Epilogue of Hurricane Sandy.” This exhibition will explore the internal discoveries made by individuals during the historic storm. Interested artists may send images, concepts, or questions to rgold@gwmail.gwu.edu by November 19 for exhibition in early Spring. For more information, download this PDF.

Fine Art Photography Exhibit
Deadline: November 14, 2012. The Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites all artists in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico to enter its open-juried all photography competition, “Focal Point.” Any original work created in any form of photography, following exhibition guidelines, will be considered. Works selected will be on exhibit in the MFA’s Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle, Annapolis, MD from February 1 to February 24, 2013. For more information, click here.

BlackRock Center for the Arts
Deadline: December 21, 2012. BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD is accepting entries for exhibits in 2014. Entry is open to all artists 18 years and over residing in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. The entry fee is $35. For the entry form and more details, click here.
