We know you’ve been eagerly waiting on the artwork pairings for this year’s Art on Tap Summer Seasonal…and today is the day! 1. Hardywood Park Craft Brewery
First up is Hardywood Park Craft Brewery will be bringing their “Triple Peach” which will be paired with Judy Wilson’s Winding Down.
About the beer: Hardywood’s Peach Tripel is bright and effervescent, showcasing a delightful balance of fruity esters and spicy phenols that harmonize with subtle notes of white pepper and honeysuckle. The Peach Tripel is refermented on apricots and heaps of yellow peaches, delivering a luscious stone fruit character with a pleasantly dry finish.

2. Brothers Craft Brewing
…..up next is Brothers Craft Brewing featuring “Gosecolada” paired with Oysters on the Half-Shell by Jane Coonce.
About the Beer: Gosecolada is quite simply everything you love about your favorite tropical cocktail, only in a beer. This traditional German kettle soured ale gets turned into an island classic thanks to additions of pineapple and coconut. The fruits add a sweetness that perfectly balances the otherwise tart ale. A subtle and traditional addition of salt rounds everything out and leaves you wanting more.

3. Starr Hill Brewery and Yunnan on Potomac Noodle House
Next, Starr Hill Brewery will be bringing “Northern Lights” and Yunnan on Potomac will be serving up their signature Noodle House fare. This pairing will be sampled with Face Me by Sohalia Rubin.
About the Beer: A newly enhanced version of a classic American-style India Pale Ale, Northern Lights is characterized by its full-flavored bitterness and poignant citrus-floral aroma. A perfect blend of barley and hops makes this a very balanced IPA.

4. Port City Brewing Company and Chadwicks
Next up is Port City Brewing Company featuring “Rivershed Ale” paired with Chadwicks and View from the Bar by Sam Miller.
About the Beer: Rivershed Ale is Port City’s tribute to the Chesapeake Bay and the rivers that feed into it. Rivershed Ale is a dry-hopped pale ale brewed with local grains that provide the perfect context for a bright hop flavors.

5. Rocket Frog Brewing and Meggrolls
Next up is beer-food-art trifecta #5: Rocket Frog Brewing Company featuring “Barrel Aged Shame” and “Torment Barley Wine” and Meggrolls restaurant who are paired with The Hangover by Tara Barr.
About the Beer: “Barrel Aged Shame” is a big, barrel aged barleywine with notes of caramel, oak, raisin, vanilla, and spice. This beer was blended from several different spirit barrels including rye whiskey, bourbon, apple brandy, cabernet, and rum to achieve a balanced flavor profile. “Torment Barley Wine” is a big beer designed for slow sipping. This American-style Barleywine is rich and complex with notes of raisins, dark fruits, caramel, and booze.
