Students build a strong foundation in the ancient art form of mosaics using modern tools and materials. They learn to cut glass, properly adhere tesserae, and finish their work for the best results. Planning, design, selection of materials, and use of hand tools is covered. Fabrication techniques and tricks of the trade are shared. Returning students may work on a project of their choice with instructor approval. All skill levels are welcome. A materials fee of $95 is payable to the instructor.
