Alice Kale is an artist and teacher who lives and works in the Del Ray section of Alexandria, Virginia, where she is well-known for her images of life in the neighborhood. Her work has been featured in The Washington Post, and two national magazines, Watercolor Magic and Artist’s Sketchbook. She exhibits extensively in the mid-Atlantic region and has won numerous awards. She is a signature member of the Virginia and Baltimore Watercolor Societies, and Potomac Valley Watercolorists.
