Emily has a Bachelor’s degree in Art and a Master’s Degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Georgetown University. Through her years of teaching, she created curriculums and courses infused with art to help manage daily stress and heal past traumas. She teaches art to all ages and seeks to use a multimedia approach to help lead community equity and diversity initiatives. Emily has recently started a community outreach program that designs and creates free murals and paintings for first-time homeowners.
She currently works with a local middle school to create murals so students feel reflected within the space. Every blank wall is painted, and color surrounds each learner and educator.
She is excited to teach a youth multimedia drawing and painting class with The Art League.
