Judy Heiser has been painting over 20 years. She co-founded Les Artists Locale, Plein Air Painters of Alexandria, is a Board member of ArtSpire VA, and created and taught recreational Art Rehabilitation at Mount Vernon Hospital. Her works have won several awards and can be seen on exhibit in DC, Maryland, Virginia and recently at the National Institute of Health and Torpedo Factory Art Center among others.
She has a Bachelor of Arts from California State University of Los Angeles, completed Graduate studies at Johns Hopkins, and continued to study art at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, the Art League and the National Gallery of Art. Having designed theater sets, Heiser often works in large scale format in mixed media.
