I am a Ukrainian-American.  I have attended the National Art Academy in Paris, France and have a Master’s Degree and PhD from the Sorbonne in Paris, France. I have taught hand painting on silk at the University of Maryland and Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC and Pysanka classes at the Portsmouth Art Museum, Portsmouth, Virginia; the Maryland College of Art; at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Arts & Crafts Center, Mons, Belgium; and at various other organizations and embassies.
