This workshop covers the most helpful principles in the construction of a convincing portrait drawing. The head in perspective, surface anatomy, and proportions of the head, line, and mass drawing are explained and demonstrated. concepts including light and shade, planes, and volume of the head, and the structure of features are part of the curriculum. The course is geared to the novice, but also functions as a valuable refresher to the more experienced artist.
