Table Runner with Floats on a Rigid Heddle Loom

In this two day workshop, students learn essential pick-up stick techniques while weaving a beautiful two-color cotton or linen table runner. Participants are introduced to plain weave and explore how to create striking warp and weft floats, adding texture and depth to their handwoven piece. Students have the option learn the direct warping method. Hemstitching on the loom for a polished finish is also covered. The instructor will provide step-by-step guidance throughout the process, ensuring a rewarding and enjoyable weaving experience. Tuition covers use of the loom and materials.
