For The Art League’s second internationally juried exhibition “Tabletop,” 65 ceramic artists from all corners of the United States and Canada turned out to submit various functional wares associated with eating, drinking, presenting, and enjoying food. Juror Linda Christianson, a successful ceramic artist and educator who lives and works in rural Minnesota, selected 48 pieces created by 47 artists from 20 states and Canada.
A variety of techniques, glazes, and firing methods are represented amongst the selected pieces. Bowls, platters, salt & pepper shakers, cups, pitchers, teapots, and other handmade wares are featured. Works range from traditional to modern in design.
