September is just around the corner, and that means … ice cream bowls!
Come join The Art League at the Alexandria King Street Art Festival, September 7 and 8, for a whole slate of events, including art activities for the whole family. It’s all headlined by our annual Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser — featuring gourmet ice cream and your choice of handmade bowls for only $15.

Saturday, September 7:
- 10:00 am–12:00 noon: Kick-Off Art Activity
- 11:00 am–4:00 pm: Ice Cream Bowl Fundraiser
- 2:00–4:00 pm: Hands-On T-Shirt Printing Activity
- 12:00 noon–4:00 pm: Get-A-Head at Art Activated

Our ceramics artists have been hard at work throwing, trimming, firing, and glazing 1,000 bowls for the event. They’re quite good at it — so to test them, we had them race each other and then do it again, blindfolded.
