Clay Animation Camp

Last week we showed you some of what kids made at Summer Art Camp this year. Today we’re pleased to bring you the movies made by campers in our two Clay Animation camps, along with an inside look at the production process:

These workshops for kids 8–12 start with character creation on the first day — that’s when we stopped by to film the video above. After that, campers work together to make props, locations, and the script and voiceovers for their stop-motion movies.

You can see the finished product from this year and past workshops in this YouTube playlist. The next clay animation workshop is a one-day class on Saturday, October 19 — and of course, Clay Animation Camp returns next summer!
