Embark on an engrossing journey through the wonderful world of gel plates and their many applications for all kinds of art projects. Prints can be freestanding pieces of art, collage materials, book covers, journal pages and much more. Gel plates provide a low-tech alternative to monoprinting with a press and can be both purchased and made with simple tools and materials. The options for patterns, layering and special effects are limitless, and this class explores many of those, along with methods for making image transfers. Beware…it’s addictive! There is a $10.00 materials fee paid to the instructor to cover shared materials.
