Alyse Radenovic’s “Lines in Color” exhibit is a phantasm of hues, consisting solely of multifold vertical lines. The simplicity of the vertical-line format makes the nature of different colors, highlighted through juxtaposition, the sole focus of the work.

She believes each painting is an elaborate yet streamlined nexus of consonant and dissonant color combinations, creating harmonious statements from the interconnection of disparate hues. Each composition is a rich and unified tapestry, at once dynamic and serene. Unfettered by overt cultural and real-world references, these universal modern paintings have broad-based appeal, and commune with the psyche in an open-ended and peaceful way.

Alyse Radenovic’s “Lines in Color” exhibit, consisting of acrylic paintings on 36 x 48 inch canvases, makes its debut at The Art League Gallery. “Lines in Color” marks Mrs. Radenovic’s first solo exhibit at the gallery, which has included her paintings in group exhibits 35 times.
