Meet the Juror

Gage Branda

Gage Branda is an artist, educator, and curator. He received his BFA in Sculpture from the Maryland Institute College of Art. He has exhibited projects and artworks in a variety of venues including the Eleventh Hackers of Planet Earth Conference in New York, the Emerge Conference at Arizona State University, the San Jose Innovative Tech Museum, and the Diana Lowenstein Gallery in Miami. As an educator, he has taught in programs for K-12 students across Baltimore City, on subjects ranging from urban farming to basic animation. Currently, he offers insight from his diverse artistic background –from bronze sculpture to bio-design– to help curate the American Visionary Art Museum’s varied thematic exhibitions.
