Angela Gleeson

Since first discovering clay in 1994, Angela Gleeson has turned a personal passion into a
distinguished career in ceramic arts. With a BFA from Alfred University and an MFA from Hood
College, Angela balances her time between mentoring college students as an Adjunct Professor
at NOVA’s Alexandria campus and inspiring high schoolers in Falls Church. Beyond the
technical craft, Angela is a strong believer in the therapeutic nature of clay, viewing ceramics as
a vital tool for healing and self-expression.
